Who I am, in my own words
I am the type of person who spends an hour setting up automation, that usually takes a minute to do manually. One might think that's counter-intuitive and yes s/he may be right but that's not the point.
The point is that I am having fun with technology. Tinkering with technology for me is a pastime and I'm so glad that I can turn my hobby into a career.
I love doing projects where I am exposed to new types of technology and more importantly, exposed to new learning opportunities.
Ironically even troubleshooting is fun for me. Troubleshooting is the most interesting part of IT in my opinion. It puts you in a detective mindset where you start looking for clues and following leads until you find the fault/bug.

Shift4 acquired Finaro in October 2023. Finaro was a B2B (business to business) bank that handled online transactions on a gateway level and on an acquiring level. The Shift4 division that I work in still continues that vision.
NOC Team Lead

- Coordinate and assign the team's workload and tasks when required.
- Assist with the training of new members of the team.
- Monitor the quality of the alerts and case handling of the team.
- Track and monitor scheduled platform maintenance or deployment activity and update the team with any expected impacts.
- Strive to achieve the department targets by monitoring the relevant Key Performance Indicators, acting when areas of improvement are identified.
- Perform regular performance reviews for the team and set training targets for the team members.
- Maintain and manage the current team's procedures and knowledge base.
- Review the team's incident reports and make sure all recorded details are accurate.
- Act as the department focal point and help to resolve escalated issues.
- Managing the NOC shift schedule (including the weekend cover, optional leave, and sick leave).

ZTK Youth Club

ZTK Youth Club used to form part of Saint Margaret College. The aim of the Youth Club was to provide opportunities for youths to spend their free time in a safe environment and participate in discussions and team building activities.

It's amazing what you can accomplish if you work as a team, and that's why I love being in one! Working in a team makes your job more fun.

You can be the best worker there is, but if you can't take the responsibility to finish the task or aren't reliable enough to do it in time, then what's the point?
Dedicated
When I set a goal in my mind, I will do everything that I can to accomplish that goal. There is no greater feeling than accomplishing a set target.

I'm able to take steady shots and capture creative footage using both a DSLR camera & a standard camcorder.

I'm able to edit footage using Sony Vegas Pro. I can do all the basics plus some advanced techniques.
Photoshop
It's incredible what you can accomplish with Photoshop! Knowing the basics and some advanced techniques is important to me.
Programming
I have basic knowledge of both Java & Python. I'm able to create simple programs to suit my needs.

I'm able to edit both HTML & CSS very well, plus some JavaScript. This website was built by me.

Green Entrepreneurs
This youth exchange was based around how being a good businessman doesn't necessarily mean putting the environment second. Profit and being green can go together!

In this youth exchange we talked about the importance of education. We discussed the different education systems across the EU.
