NOC Manager at Shift4, leading a team that keeps payment platforms healthy across Malta, Europe and beyond. Outside of that I run LC Development, building websites, tools and AI apps like Closet DJ. Give me a problem and I'll take it apart until I find the fault, then build something so it can't happen twice.
Who I am, in my own words
I'm the kind of person who will happily spend an hour automating a task that takes a minute by hand. It sounds counter-intuitive, and honestly it sometimes is, but that hour buys back every minute after it, and I get to enjoy the puzzle on the way there.
Technology has been my hobby for as long as I can remember, and I've been lucky enough to turn it into a career. These days that means leading a NOC team spread across Malta and Europe by day, and building under LC Development by night: Closet DJ, an AI wardrobe stylist that puts outfits together from a photo, a back office for people running more than one business, and the site you're reading right now.
What I actually enjoy is the solving. Troubleshooting is the most interesting part of IT, in my opinion. It puts you in a detective mindset, chasing clues and following leads until the fault finally gives itself up. The fix is satisfying, but the hunt is the fun part.
I gravitate towards work that puts me in front of technology I haven't touched yet: new tools, new problems, new things to be useless at for a week and dangerous with by the end of the month. That curiosity is what turns a gap I noticed at work into a tool the whole team ends up using.

Shift4 acquired Finaro in October 2023. Finaro was a B2B (business to business) bank that handled online transactions on a gateway level and on an acquiring level. The Shift4 division that I work in still continues that vision.
NOC & Technical Support Manager
Apr 2025 - PresentMy role as a NOC & Technical Support manager effectively inherited all the responsibilities I had prior, while gaining more independence and responsibility. As our organization became more integrated with the global company, our team also expanded internationally. Today, I manage team members both locally in the Maltese office and across Europe, while closely collaborating with teams around the world. The focus of my role has evolved to emphasize how our team connects with the broader organization, ensuring we effectively address current challenges and align with the company’s global objectives.
NOC & Technical Support Team Lead

- Coordinate and assign the team's workload and tasks when required.
- Assist with the training of new members of the team.
- Monitor the quality of the alerts and case handling of the team.
- Track and monitor scheduled platform maintenance or deployment activity and update the team with any expected impacts.
- Strive to achieve the department targets by monitoring the relevant Key Performance Indicators, acting when areas of improvement are identified.
- Perform regular performance reviews for the team and set training targets for the team members.
- Maintain and manage the current team's procedures and knowledge base.
- Review the team's incident reports and make sure all recorded details are accurate.
- Act as the department focal point and help to resolve escalated issues.
- Managing the NOC shift schedule (including the weekend cover, optional leave, and sick leave).

ZTK Youth Club

ZTK Youth Club used to form part of Saint Margaret College. The aim of the Youth Club was to provide opportunities for youths to spend their free time in a safe environment and participate in discussions and team building activities.
